I know there are some remotes that you can buy that will turn off just about any television from quite a distance. The devices are often small enough to fit on a keychain.
I was wondering if there was a similar remote kill device for Wireless Internet, and if so, where I could get one.
Why? Because I am a student and I am often in lecture halls surrounded by other students with open laptops, none of whom are taking notes. They're all IMing or on Facebook, and the constant key clicking makes it very hard for me to pay attention to the lecture. Kill the internet and they'll have to stop clicking.

I have a digital voice recorder also and you should be able to convert the files to a common format for your friends (mp3, WMA, etc...).
Your software for your voice recorder is the key here. Hopefully (very likely) it has an option for 'converting' the file format. The Olympus website shows many models that actually record directly into WMA format, so that is a good sign. Once it is converted, you can 'attach' (which you can do with any file type) and send in an email to your friends, and share it online with the world.
