The iDog.The iDog is a robot dog designed and manufactured by Sega Toys. It is also manufactured by Hasbro which provides the iDog to North American audiences. It is also marketed as the eDog in Germany and the Netherlands.
iDog wearing clothing.The iDog reacts to music from an external source, such as an MP3 player. It features seven Flashing Led lights on its face and has the ability to 'dance' to the beat of the music. It also has a number of switches on its nose, head and tail which allow it to react to user input. It has various emotions (which change based on user interaction) that provide different color patterns on its LED lights. Made famous for multicoloured lights. The iDog was probably designed to interact with the iPod (hence the name, even though the iPod is designed by the Apple Computer company), though it will work with any 3.5mm audio jack input, and has an integrated speaker.

I'm a PhD Student, and I need to record insects song. For that, I'm recording with a microphone (a particle velocity one), and then I use this filter to amplify, and obviously filter.
But my signal/noise ratio is ~1.5, sometimes ~1, which is very difficult to analyse then. And it could be due to the fact that Im not using this filter correctly, and maybe changing a few settings could improve my S/N ratio.
Please, help me!
I would need either the advice of a pro, or a link to a specialized forum, because it might be a bit to technical for this one.

What cables do I need to connect new Samsung HDTV, DVD and FIOS DVR?
I just bought my first HDTV and am uncertain about how to set it up with my FIOS DVR and DVD player. Do I need both HDMI cables and composite video cables?
Get all HDMI cables if you can. The FIOS will definitely have HDMI output, and that is all you need for both video and audio. No other cables necessary.
The DVD player may or may not have HDMI out depending on what kind of DVD player it is and how old it is.
If the DVD player doesn't have an HDMI out, then get component video cables (red,blue,green) plus analog audio (red/white).
If the DVD player doesn't have component video out, then just use composite video (yellow) plus analog audio (red/white). Another option is S-Video, but you probably won't see much improvement over plain old composite.

I haven't but I wish I have done it many times.
Mostly people do it for many reason: so they don't have to write notes, because the professor talks fast, or so they can replay it and listen for those little details.
